The old fellows have decided to find out exactly what's going on down at Abner's house. The reports of things vanishing from the house, mysterious lights in the windows, and a white robed figure, have made Abner certain that his place is haunted. Lum is sceptical about this of course, but he thinks they might find some kind of clue regarding Abner's missing wife and daughter. As we look in on the little community today, and it's very late at night and very dark, and we find Lum and Abner crouched behind some bushes near to Abner's house...
