It is wartime France, and at a household in rural country, a family have offered their hospitality to a young American soldier. It's very exciting for Mademoiselle Corbert, a young girl when she first meets him in the hayloft. She wants to make him comfortable, and so begins with a tour of the house  and its vast grounds.
