A funny looking guy named Weed Pendle had arrived in Dodge City. He was broke and had nothing in the world but his mule and his guitar. When Short and Tyler found out that he had been in the army in the third Illinois Cavalry for the Yankees they made it their purpose to make Pendle’s life a misery but they went too far.
