Rudy opens the show, introducing this week's special guests, which includes Gertrude Lawrence and Douglas Montgomery who do a scene 'Shadow Play' by Noel Coward. Ezra Stone appears in a Henry Aldrich skit by Clifford Goldsmith, and Willie Howard appears as Professor Pierre Ginsburg, before Rudy performs the first tune, called Gay Paree.
