Royal Desserts and Rudy Vallee invite you to listen to a wonderful hour of music and variety. Rudy opens the show, introducing this week's stars which includes Tyrone Power in a romantic play with Muriel Kirkland, written by Noel Coward. There's comedy from Bob Hope, and the lovely actress, comedian and impersonator Florence Desmond, who is newly arrived from London, and of course the regular appearance of Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy. And in the news spot is Tony Sarg, the celebrated master of marionettes.
