Grover Cleveland was the Twenty-Second President of the United States and served in the White House from 1885-1889. He was the only President to leave the White House and return for a second term four years later to become the Twenty-Fourth President from 1893-1897. Grover Cleveland was the only president to be married in the White House and the only president to have a child born there. The date of the White House wedding complete with marine band in scarlet and gold uniforms led by John Philip Souza was June the 2nd 1886.
