Roland Fletcher wants to discover why Max Spellman owner of the Arcadia nightclub would want to kill Night club dancer Janet Joyce tall because she had picked the a little Ivorian disc with a picture of a scorpion on it. Spellman seemed to want the disc very badly and Fletcher is determined to find out why.
