Roland Fletcher aka the Grey Goose took a trip with Barbara to the Hook of Holland and it paid dividends. And his little hint to Inspector Ford of Scotland Yard didn't do any harm either. 

Now in this new adventure it seems that some burglars are posing as the Grey Goose by leaving a Goose feather at the crime. Their victims are being terrorised and even hospitalised.  He is describe in the newspapers as the infamous Grey Goose. Roland Fletcher calls the newspaper to tell them who he is and to print that he is not the violent thief  and does not kill, bludgeon or commit mayhem. 

The Grey Goose will not be saddled with the crimes of the thugs and he must do something about it.
