The evening meal has been over for a little while as we join the Gook family, and in the living room we find Vic and Rush, facing each other across the table, playing a somewhat sluggish game of Rummy. Sade comes into the room a little confused. When she stepped out onto the back porch a few moments ago, a man hollered something to her about being named in the paper, so she has come inside to see for herself.
