The dreaded flu bug which has been going round has got Gracie today, and at the last minute, she couldn't make it to the studio. It was too late to rewrite the script, so Jane Wyman has stepped in to read Gracie's lines instead (which is really bizarre!)

It's Christmas morning at the Burns' home today, and George and Gracie are making their plans for the day. Gracie wants to invite all of their friends over this afternoon. They can eat turkey sandwiches, and George can hand out his cigars. So far, the guest list includes, Meredith Wilson, Dr Miller, Bill Goodwin, and Mr Judson the Texan.
