In these regular Sunday addresses it is Father Coughlin's objective to support Christianity and Americanism in these days when irreligion and internationalism are creating havoc in our midst. 

His first address today will deal with the subject, Government By Man or Government By Law. His second address beginning promptly at the half hour will be entitled, Who Wants War.

Well you certainly get a history lesson here. Father Coughlin certainly didn't hold back on his political views and pleas to his Christian followers.  I would love to listen to his addresses during and after the war but our collection only goes to early 1940.

At the beginning of the episode a word of encouragement to the distributors of Social Justice goes, "In the name of the publishers of Social Justice incorporation we extend to you our thanks for your valiant support. Please maintain the high standard of Christianity and Americanism, which is characterized to your endeavors. Be not perturbed by the disturbers whose objective it is to make you the target of criticism."
