Doc Long and Jack Packard are sat in the office of the A1 Detective Agency when Fred Lock enters the office. Fred works for the federal government. The government wants a case broken fast. It is in Los Angeles and they have got to put a man at the head of the case that is totally unidentifiable with government work … That man is Jack Packard.
