First Gildy is late for his date with school teacher Irene Henshaw because he was left standing in a phone booth when he gave a fellow 50 cents to get him some change and he never came back. This isn't the first time he's been late for Irene but all for valid reasons. He promises it will never happen again but then when he finds him self accidentally locked in Peavey's cellar he misses their date altogether. Oh dear I think that Gildy's going to be ditched for certain this time!
