Lamont and Margo realize their vacation train is not going according to schedule when the porter fails to wake them at one. The porter insists that it isn't one yet; the passenger Lamont speaks to shows his watch, which says it's nearly five. When the little man disappears a few minutes later, Lamont and Margo find themselves involved in a murder, a train takeover, and a missing jewel known as the Giant of Madras.
