The crumpled remnants of the car are now a dying sheet of flame. The bright oranges of the flire smeared and dulled by the black smoke as the rescue crews work. The man, mercifully thrown clear of the raging flames, his fall broken by the thick underbrush, lies still and limp as the ambulance crew pick him up and carry him to the waiting ambulance. It takes off immediately and soon is within the city limits...
