Margo and Lamont are seated on the veranda of a small hotel conversing with the proprietor Roger Miller and his wife Adel. Miller had inherited the place a month ago from his uncle and since they had taken possession no guest has stayed there for more than one night because there is a ghost legend, a jinx on the place.
