Jerome Knead, head of the construction company, which was planning to erect the largest and finest building in the world, received a visit from a stranger warning him not to go ahead with his plans. He was told, it would lead to nothing but death and torture if his plans to erect the tallest building in the world to be called the Coast Building went ahead. Jerome did not recognise the stranger but was told that he should know him from the past and one day he would remember whom he was.
