This is the true story of the kidnapping of American businessman millionaire William Gettle from his home on 9th May 1934. Mr Gettle was rescued on the 15th May 1934 the day before this episode was broadcast.

At the end of the episodes Mr Bill Gettle expresses his thanks to all those involved in the capture of the kidnappers and his safe return to his family.
