Georgie Beck is a pickpocket and a thief who is convinced that somebody is following him. He calls the police to tell them that he is concerned for his life. Since that call Danny Clover has been looking for Georgie Beck so that he can help him but he seems to be nowhere to be found. When Detective Danny Clover finally does get a lead on Becks whereabouts it is to dicover he is dead.
