When Marshall Matt Dillon arrives back in Dodge he discovers a new bank has been opened in town by Drew Holt a man he has never heard of. Then General Parsley Smith of the third Illinois Cavalry turns up at the Marshall’s office to inform him that Drew Holt is a thief and that when he gets enough money on deposit in his bank he is going to steal it and for the sake of the good citizens of Dodge town he should look in to it.
