Blackie was approached by Carol Williams who was the long time girlfriend of Fred Arlen. She informed Blackie that Arlen got out of jail yesterday and had promised to kill Blackie when he got out as it was Blackie who had put him in there. Surprised at her concern it turned out that her worry was that Blackie may kill Arlen and Miss Williams wanted the pleasure of killing Arlen herself.
