The mighty Mr Ankers has hired George Valentine as the nervous night watchman at the plant of one of his local companies needed to be replaced. The only trouble is he wasn’t replaced soon enough. He’s killed a man, an eager beaver named Jerry Frame. The night watchman believed him to be a prowler but George Valentine finds it hard to believe that this is anything but murder.
