This story is inspired by incidents from the book of the same name by Russell Whalen. Its story is one of a small brave band of American aviators who in January 1942 were fighting in China against the Japanese before America had entered the war. Miss Lee Ya-Ching the famous Chinese pilot who was the first Chinese woman to pilot an Airplane, also appears with the cast of the show and gives a warm-hearted speech of gratitude towards the Americans at the end of the program.
