As the scene opens it is seven o’clock in the evening and Dr Christian and his friend Roy Davis, the druggist are having a game of chequers in the doctor’s office. Judy is due back from her vacation in Hollywood and it seems everyone is looking forward to her return especially Jerry Turner.
