Mary narrates the story of her marriage and life with her husband Jim and how they longed for a child and were over the moon when they found out Mary was pregnant. But then that fateful night in the storm their life was turned upside down and all Jim can think of doing is fleeing from home despite that Mary will never stop loving him and has never blamed him for what has happened.
