This episode of Your All Time Hit Parade was the first program of the season and took over from The Jack Benny Show.  As the the show begins you are treated to five minutes of Jack Benny and friends discussing who is taking over their Sunday slot on radio and then on Your All Time Hit Parade Jack, Mary and Rochester are special guests playing the musical game Name The Song Before The Gong. The listener is invited to play along as the orchestra plays each of the great All-Time songs and you have to name what that song is. The first tune today is Sing You Sinners.
