John Conte opens the show, introducing today's guest star, the sweetheart of two continents, Hildegarde. She raises the curtain  with the song I Want To Be Happy accompanied by Harry Sosnik and the Savings Bonds Orchestra. Harry Sosnik and the Savings Bonds Orchestra then play Look For The Silver Lining. Hildegarde then sings the song Hi-Lili, Hi-Lo. As a special surprise Johnny Johnstone appears to do a duet with Hildergarde called Why Shouldn't It Happen To Us. Harry Sosnik and the Savings Bonds Orchestra close the show with You Do Something To Me.
