First Song - Great Day

Broadcast: December 26, 1945
Added: Dec 28 2023

The show begins with Frank wishing A Merry Day after Christmas to you and welcoming you to his six days before New Years Eve party! First song of the show by old blue eyes is Great Day. Then Frank introduces you to the sixteen young men who range in age from twelve to sixteen and make up the Bob Mitchell Boys Choir. They will delight you with two songs with a New Year flavor, Good King Wenceslas and the Wassail Song.

Frank gets a visit from Father Time as they reflect on 1945 and look forward to 1946. Final song of the show Is You'll Never Walk Alone. Happy New Year 1946!
