Our Miss Brooks who teaches English at Madison High School is in a good mood because Miss Enright is leaving school for the rest of the semester to nurse her ill sister. However Miss Davies isn't happy as Miss Enright has been teaching her first aid at her evening class. Mr Conklin enlists Miss Brooks to volunteer to take over Miss Enrights red cross  first aid class.
