The Landsdale Dramatic Society is presenting The Luncheon Party a play by Mr H.M. Mollier who also, unknown to Jim Blanding,  is the writer of the" Woof Wow" television jingle. The Luncheon Party, which has been in rehearsal for two weeks with Jim playing the lead is being presented to raise money for a new firehouse and considering the fact that the old firehouse burned down only the other day this theatrical enterprise is very important. Jim Blandings hates the play and hates himself in it.
