In the last adventure, Captain Midnight and his agents of the third front arrived in a secluded French farmyard in a German truck which they'd captured in San Michel. The final plans are made to help the French underground, and shortly afterwards Captain Midnight makes his escape for a rendezvous. Darkness has just fallen, and the Gestapo officer Baron von Karp is entering the stable from which they just escaped...
