Jim Otis hires Harry and Bill Reece to steal his wife’s fifty thousand dollar necklace. They steal it but for reasons not apparent they give it to Mary Wesley whom they think would give it to Blackie so that Blackie will give it to the police. But Mary tells Blackie that she doesn’t have the necklace and later tells Inspector Faraday that it was stolen from her.
