William Marky was the 46-year-old owner of a consulting engineering firm in New York. He’d been married to his present wife for three years and she was a charming and lovely young woman aged 30 and the sole beneficiary of his $75000 insurance policy with Stella Liability. For the past month the couple had been in Miami but three days ago Marky was killed, or allegedly killed in an accident, drowned when a fishing launch sank a mile or two off shore.
