Our opening scene took place some years ago, when two very young draftees, as allies of the forces were thrown together at the landing of the beach in Normandy. Since then, the bonds of friendship have never been broken. Now, they are middle aged men, and they have gone their own separate ways, but over the years, one solemn promise has always been kept. No matter what's going on in their lives, or where they are, they meet for a reunion on June 6th. D-Day.
