These early shows of the police weren't fact based, but just good old crime drama. As was usual then, music filled the first and last parts of the show, so that the local station announcer could do a commercial or two.

The police got a call at 5.32am about a robbery of furs at a warehouse and they got there in 2 minutes and found the owner on the floor with a cut on his head but saw no one leaving the scene. A report showed that the alarm was tripped at 5.29am but could it be possible for the robbers to clear the place of $80,000 worth of fur and get away inside of 4 minutes?
