On Nayland Smith’s promise to rescue her brother from Fu Manchu Karame exposes to him the temporary hiding place of Dr Fu, a houseboat on the Thames River. Alone and at night Smith and Dr Petrie trap the oriental. The knives of Fu Mancu’s dacoites in turn threaten them. Escaping from the houseboat they are closely followed by Dr Fu’s killers to a deserted hut.
