Bill has done wonders with the Green Valley Line in his short period of management, but in spite of increased earnings, in spite of the splendid loyalty of his men, in spite of the fact that from end to end of the line the Green Valley people are behind him to a man, Bill has to dig up $70,000 in two weeks over and above every possible cent he can command from revenues, if not the game is up.
