The big fellow had an eagle eye for promising young baseball players and one spring he brought a rookie catcher called Bobby Lee to the Yankees training camp. The kid looked great which didn’t please Duke Adams you see Duke figured to be the regular catcher that season and he started trouble on the train while they were making their way north…
