Mrs Frank Loring’s husband has been missing seven years and now the New York court declares him legally dead. Home Office Hemisphere Life Insurance Company had him insured for a quarter of a million dollars and this court decision means they will have to pay off within 10 days. However Henry Grant from the insurance company has reason to believe that Loring is still alive and calls Johnny Dollar, insurance investigator.
