Our Miss Brooks who teaches English at Madison High School has to award the Yoda Critch Award for Unique Achievement in English. Stretch Snodgrass Madison’s star athlete is having a barbecue after school and Miss Brooks is looking forward to going to it with Mr Boynton. However Stretch’s father tells him that there will be no barbecue if Stretch doesn’t win the English award. Oh dear there isn’t much chance of that but Miss Brooks doesn’t want to miss out on her date with Mr. Boynton. There are still a few hours before the test so Miss Brooks tries to help him with some private coaching.
