Well, Lum and Abner have decided to send Ellie Connors, the little girl who escaped from the state home for girls a week ago, to Wisconsin to stay with Lum's aunt. In as much as the state police are still searching for the girl, this is risky business. However, the old fellows have managed to get her as far as the county seat, and that is where we find the three of them now, just coming out of the store.
