Harry Sosnik and his orchestra open the show with their arrangement of Lazy Bones. 

Then it is over to Hollywood to hear Edward G Robinson in a short drama. Robinson stars as the captain of a ship bound for Liverpool in England tasked with taking a murderer back to England to face trial for the murder of a woman called Mary Lee. It so happens that the name of the ship is also Mary Lee.
