Tonight's show celebrates how, out of the dreams and aspirations of two young men, their talent, love and devotion to music, came one of the most unusual orchestras in the industry, the Sauter-Finegan Orchestra. The music of the orchestra is distinguished by its unusual use of new sounds, colors, moods, and faithful adherence to the highest standards in music. To begin the program, we hear one of their works which completely captured the country when it came out in 1952.
