In a special office turned over to Gangbusters by Commissioner Louis J Valentine, of the New York City Police, Colonel H Norman Schwarzkopf, now serving with the United States Army, is interviewing Superintendent George Raeer, of the New Orleans Police Department about the young, musical bank robber at the center of today's case, Earl Joyner. In an effort to be considered a big shot, Earl had turned gunman, but was captured. Then on May 13th 1932, he shot one of the prison guards, escaping with two other convicts, fleeing to Texas, where he setup headquarters in a house on the outskirts of Houston.
