The story today concerns the eternal triangle. One hot, summer evening many years ago, Mrs Louise Bradley was seated in her uncle's rose garden in his spacious estate. She was staying at her uncle's home temporarily, whilst recuperating from an illness. In the company of her uncle, and an old family friend - Doctor Wright - it was getting on towards ten o'clock when her husband, John Bradley, drove up, and the two of them went off for a short drive - promising to be back soon.
