Thaddeus Q. Tweedy, doctor of philosophy and dean of men at Potts College is very excited, as he has received a check for $250 in advanced royalties for his proposed book on Greek philosopher Socrates. While Dr Tweedy is working on his book he hears a baby crying and finds that someone has left a baby on his porch!
