Dr Johnson In Scotland is based on the book by James Boswell called The Life of Samuel Johnson. The story is set in August of 1773 and is told by Boswell as he takes Englishman, scholar, writer and poet, Dr Samuel Johnson on a tour of Scotland beginning from Boswell's home in Edinburgh.
