Nora and Freddy are on their way to the Lang farm, where Nora's father Paul is lying desperately ill. In Rossville, Penny Gibbs is at home waiting for word from the Lang's when the doorbell rings. Penny goes to the door and is thrilled to see that Dr Evans is her surprise visitor.
