Stanley Skinner is a gentleman who is trying very hard to be a very good citizen and help when the police put out a plea for information regarding a man that has been murdered. The murdered man was a private detective named Luther Benbo and had five $20 bills in his possession with a double zero written on each one in red ink. You see Mr Skinner believes that at one time these may have been his $20’s as he is in the habit of marking his bills as a precaution of being shortchanged. He tells the police that he had given $100 to his landlord so now the police go to the landlord to find out if and why he had given the private detective $100 and if it could lead nearer to discovering why Benbo had been murdered.
