Doctor Joel Evans was visiting Penny Gibbs when Freddy Lang phoned from the country that Paul, his father in law, had taken a sudden turn for the worse, and he couldn't get in touch with his regular doctor. A little while later, Joel and Penny are in the doctor's car, on their way to Freddy's farm. Penny is nervous of the drive there, due to Joel's accelerated driving.
